Hello and Welcome,

I am Gloria Angel, I am an interior designer, general contractor, artist and Feng Shui specialist. After 27 years living in sunny Florida, I decided that it was time for a change and relocated to Sanford, NC. I opened Il Primo Mercato, a boutique store located in historic downtown Sanford, filled with personality, unique furniture, home decor, plants and gifts.

Our name "Il Primo Mercato" means the first market and It is inspired by historical Italian markets in Europe. 

I create custom pieces for every house I design or remodel. All my work is completely different from one to another. The moment I step into a house, I can visualize and come up with the entire project already on my first walk-through. I can see the perfect furniture, wall colors, accents, or any other necessary project to make a house unique and beautiful.
